Add New Books to your Collection from the Godfrey Book Sale

The Godfrey has nearly 400 used Genealogies, Biographies, Histories, and Resource Books for sale!  Many of these books are out of print and hard to find, so don't pass up the opportunity to add them to your collection!  Follow the links to the lists below to read a detailed list of the books for sale in each section.

Genealogies and Biographies: Including genealogies of the Boon, French Gillson/Jillson, Gormley, Bradley, Brown, Parker, Puffer, Plumer, Randall, Scarritt, and many other families!  Biographies about such people as Winston Churchill, Eleanor Roosevelt, Gertrude Bell, and many more are also for sale.

Genealogy Resource Books: If you're looking for help improving your family history research then you should definitely take a look here!  From Richard Lackey's Cite Your Resources to Printed Sources: A Guide to Published Genealogical Records you will almost certainly find something useful for your research.

Connecticut: With histories, vital records, and other books about towns from all over Connecticut, anyone interested in researching the Nutmeg state should investigate these books! 

New England: New England and its states has a rich, detailed history.  Along with books like A Noble Pursuit, the Sesquicentennial History of New England and Churches of Old New England, their Architecture and their Architects, their Pastors and their People, a selection of vital records and town histories are also available for sale. 

States Other than New England: Gravestone inscriptions from Pennsylvania, American Marriage notices from 1786-1794, a history of the Great Plains States, Notable New Yorkers from 1896-99, our States other than New England books for sale consist of a little bit of everything!

Immigration and International: Histories from Europe, South America, Asia, and other places from around the world are represented in these books for sale.  Also for sale are transcripts of passenger lists from arrivals in New York Port, 1820-1829 and 1830-1832.
